It's always a great day when you
receive happy mail.
I feel very lucky to have such
wonderful friends.

Wonderful card from Gemma.

A gift from my Upline Denise. Adore the mug so much.

Nerida has handmade everything from the envelope to the
gorgeous little lantern that lights up.

Christmas Cards with Stampin Up

Here are 2 of the Christmas cards I posted

A lot of layers and texture.
Looking forward now to holidays
 and more time to create.

Single Layer Stampin Up Christmas Cards

If your like me and running out of time
to get everything done before Christmas,
(a week today)!!! here are some quick
and easy Christmas cards to make.
One layer, plain old rubber stamping,
some sponging and your done.
I used sticky post it notes to mask
off the areas, sponged on some Christmas colour,
added a sentiment and a Christmas image.
Great for last minute cards.

Secret Santa Christmas Gift

I posted this Secret Santa gift off
to Queensland last week.
Using Stampin Up supplies I coordinated
the whole gift from the box, to the card
and a decoration for the tree.
The vintage gift I choose also matched the theme
of the papers and stamps.
I love how it's so simple to
create with Stampin up.

Stamp Club Projects for December

This month at Stamp Club we made
a complete gift for someone special.
Using all Stampin Up products,
except for the white bag,
we made a gift bag with
a big beautiful double bow.
A Christmas cracker, which we filled
with chocolates.
The card is a flip card and we added some
Christmas bling.

Christmas Gifts for my Stamp Club Ladies

Stamp Club has gone by so fast this year.
I enjoyed coming up with new ideas
to showcase all of Stampin Up's
wonderful products.
For gifts for my Stamp Club ladies
I decorated a gift box and added to the box
a handmade gingerbread cookie, a snowflake
decoration for the tree and a Vanilla Bean candle.

Christmas with Stampin Up's Wood-Mount Cases

Stampin Up's half size wood-mount cases
are perfect for decorating and
adding a few small gifts.
I had so much fun decorating these.
And when all the treats are gone you are left
with a decorated case to store stamps
or crafting supplies.
I added some chocolates and a decorated gingerbread treat.

50th Anniversary Card

I was recently asked to make a card for a friend's
parents anniversary.
No specifications as to colour, design were given.
Here is what I came up with.

Merry Christmas Bunting

Each year I like to make something to
add to our Christmas decorations.
This year I made this bunting.
Each pennant is a little different.
No two are the same.
Sorry about the poor photo quality.
It is quite long and hard to fit into the shot.
All products are Stampin Up.

French Country Christmas Market

If you live on or near the Central Coast of NSW Australia
come and visit me at this market.
This will be the second time I have had a stall at this market.
Everything in my stall is handmade.
Lots of Christmas goodness.

Stampin Up Christmas Star

Each month at Stamp Club I like to make something
for the hostess and to show projects with different product.
This time I made an Easel card using Stampin Up's
Christmas products and also a quick Christmas Tag.
I have been using so much of Stampin Up's Glass Glitter.
It goes with everything Christmas and adds that bling.

October Stampin Up Stamp Club

This month at Stamp Club we made 3 Fancy Fold cards.
It was a great class and lots of fun.
These cards have a lot of scope to use
a large range of different products.
Once you get the understanding of how
to make the cards, they are fun and easy.
The other great thing is that they all fit in
and envelope.

Flower Pot Card

Waterfall Card

Baroque Butterfly

I made this card using Stampin Up's
Beautifully Baroque stamp set and impressions folder.
I stamped onto the butterflies and added some clear
embossing powder to add some texture.
I also inked around the edges with a sponge dauber.

2013 Christmas Cards for the Troops

My contribution is nearly ready to go.
I just have to add envelopes and
package them all to be posted off.
It's hard to see that there are 40 cards here.
Karen organizes this fantastic effort each year,
follow the link below to have a look.

Australian Cardmaking Stamping & Papercraft Magazine

In this month's edition of
Australian Cardmaking Stamping
 & Papercraft Magazine
Volume 19 Number 12
I have two cards in the
Special Features segment titled
Just in Time.
My Upline, Denise MacCabe has also
had a card published in the
Reader's Gallery.
I have always dreamed of having any of my
cards in the Christmas Edition of this magazine.
Dreams do come true and it is so exciting.

Season of Style

The older I get the quicker Christmas rolls around.
I have started with gusto on all things Christmas.
My desk is a mess and with Christmas craft the
arrival of glitter has made everything shiny and bright.
I have made 8 of the wreaths below, all different.
I have two to share.

I have used Stampin Up's Designer Series Paper
Season of Style to wrap around this wreath.
A sentiment, a snowflake and some bling.

For this wreath I used some of my old music sheet paper.
I made this wreath for our home, so vintage was required.
I cut up some old lace, used some burlap, twine
and upholstery pins.
I added extra layers onto my snowflake to get more
dimension. I also added Glass Stampin Glitter in Silver
to the edges of the stamped snowflakes to add sparkle.

Great Sport in Black & White

I made this card for my son's Birthday.
He is mad about soccer and his beloved team's
colours are black and white.
I have been getting a lot of use from the
Great Sport stamp set from Stampin Up.
I embossed all the images and an extra
set of stars. I cut them out, added
dimensionals and placed them over the other stars.
All products are Stampin Up.

Beautifully Baroque

I recently made this card
for a Valentine's Day theme.
The challenge was to make a Valentine's Day card
but not in the traditional red and pinks.
It didn't make the cut but it was great
working on this style.
I have used Stampin Up's Beautifully Baroque
stamp set. Card stock, ribbon and image is
 Pistachio Pudding.
This is one of my
favourite colours at the moment.

Past Published Cards

Here are a few cards that I
 have had published in the
Australian Cardmaking Stamping & Papercraft Magazine.
I always get so excited seeing my work in print
and sharing my ideas.

Working with Negatives was the title for this card.

Perfect Size Gift Box

Stampin Up have done a great job this year
with all their boxes. There are boxes for every
gift small or large. I have decorated one of the
smaller boxes here. The box comes with the window
insert already there and the lovely detail around the window.
Most of the work is done for you. All that is
needed is a few decorations and a small gift
and you have a beautifully presented present.

Merry Little Christmas Card

This card started out different in my mind,
as many cards do.
But once finished I could see myself using
this style and layout to make many cards.
It would be good to whip up lots of cards
in one session.
Once you have stamped and cut out the
Stampin Up ornament images, it's just
a matter of putting the card together.

Snowflake Cards

Here are some cards I made to
showcase the new Stampin Up
stamp set and matching framlits,
Festive Flurry.
Living in Australia our Christmas is far from
snowflakes and cold.
But as most of us have grown up with snow
images of Christmas I really love this set.

Stampin Up's Extra-large Gift Box Decorated

There is nothing better than a plain box to decorate.
I love all the Stampin Up boxes. There are now many
boxes in the catalogues and all have great decorating options.
I went for a vintage feel for this box.
Embossed some cardstock for the sides and made
a dimensional snowflake for the lid.
I am now going to make one in the traditional green & red.

Santa's List

I have been creating some cards with
the new Stampin Up Santa's List stamp set.
This is one of those stamp sets that
works well for simple cards as well as
more detailed cards.
I really cannot go past such a jolly Santa.

1st Christmas Card for 2013

I must admit I love making Christmas cards.
The card below is my first for the year.
Since this one I have been making many
to send off to Karen aka Paperlady
for Cards for the Troops.
I will share over the next week.
All products are Stampin Up.
