Kit Addicted

I must say as of late i have become a little,
well alot addicted to kits.
I am not sure if it is the surprise of the unknown,
the many and varied products or the
fun of creating whatever comes to mind with what
has been placed in the kit, maybe all of the above.
I purchased this kit here,
I loved playing with the different products and
boy, did it go far. Apart from a little patterened paper
from my stash, ink, a little bling and a plain white candle,
everything was in the kit.

The Kit, carefully packaged.

A Scrapbook Page

I thought this could be framed, a scrapbook page or just
placed onto an easel for decoration.

A candle using the paper napkin in the kit.
I used my heat gun to melt the thin layer to the candle.

Lots of Possibilities

I shared some photos back in July, the post is titled,
Limited Supplies. I have now gone on and made
the following from the same pack.
I really thought the pack was endless.

I love this patterned paper and didn't want to cover it up
so i left this card, clean and simple.

I really enjoyed altering these tags,
i have found a new passion.

This was a plain notepad, so i made a little cover for it
and decorated the front and it now sits
brightly in my handbag.

I really struggled with this fabric as i wanted to make
so many things with it but then i really just wanted to keep it.
It is so soft and pretty, so in the end i covered a
journal with it, added a doily, paper rose and a hat pin.

I had fun with this, all out vintage and distressed.
I have made a cover for a book or i can add paper
to the center and put it between the twine and use it as
a journal, endless possibilities.
It has a real rustic feel to it.

Inkspirations Challenge #83

To get back into creating i looked for a challenge
and i found a great sketch here,
this was a fun sketch to follow.
I wanted to try out my brand new stamp set,
Thankful For You that i purchased from here,
I can see myself using this alot.
I sprayed gold Shimmer Mist over the dragonflies,
they look really pretty in the light.

Candy's Classes

Just had to pop in and share these amazing altered books i made
last weekend. It was the best workshop/class i have ever
is a fantastic teacher and apart from learning so much,
it was heaps of fun when she shared stories from the States.
Her husband came along too, they are both really
genuine, friendly people.
So even though i am still on break i wanted to add her class
links on here as Candy is going to be here for awhile.
You can follow this link to the class schedule,
It takes alot for me to get excited these days but
you could not keep me quite last Saturday night talking about
these classes and that was after 6 hours of creating.
I hope to be back blogging regularly again soon.

For Max

My nephew's 3rd Birthday is coming up this weekend.
He loves Kombi's, trucks, buses, fire trucks
well all those sorts of vehicles.
I didn't have a stamp to work with
so i printed this image off and made this card.
Nice and bright for a little boy.
It looks so nice and warm i wouldn't
mind being on that beach today.
