Happy Dad's Day

I have used a few new products on this card that are
going to be available in the new Stampin Up Catalogue
as of tomorrow. It is hard to see in this photo but I
have used a new embossing folder and it is a hit
for male cards. The patterened paper is a new
Christmas paper but is also great for everyday cards.
I wish all the dad's a very Happy Father's Day for Sunday.
I know the Dad in this house deserves a well earned rest
and we are looking forward to waiting on him for the day.

Pretty & Organized

It's hard not to be organized when you have such a
pretty clipboard to keep you in check.
The bottom of the clipboard is a pocket so you
can add little extras.
I can't believe tomorrow is the last chance to order
out of Stampin Up's Idea Book and Catalogue 2011-2012.
This month really has flown by.

Sweetest Bunch

I was asked to make the following card for a
1st year anniversary. I thought a bunch of flowers
would be appropriate. I have used Stampin Up's
Sweetest Stem Embosslits Die on this card
and there is only a week left to order the die out of the
current Stampin Up catalogue.
I will miss this die as I love how quick it is to cut and emboss
the stem and it adds such a nice detail to projects.

Re-visited Design

I made a similar card to this one in a Stamp a Stack.
When you like a design why change it.
I was worried I would run out of time to make Father's Day cards.
I have used different colours that work well together for this card.

Old & New

Time is flying at the moment. I am trying to create using soon
to be retired stamps and products. Many that I am sad to be
losing and at the same time I am having new products being
delivered to have a play with. I have also been busy creating for my launch.
I have lots to share but not for a few weeks.
Until then here is a card using old and a sneak peak of new.

Reflections

At our last team meeting Lorraine showed us this cool technique.
I am not sure the correct name for it but love the effect it achieves.
There are a few sneak peeks on this card and I am pleased
that this stamp set, Lovely as a Tree is continuing into
the new catalogue.

For Max

The dreaded flu has caught up with me so I haven't
felt up to making many cards.
My nephew's 4th birthday is tomorrow
and I came up with this card for him.
I did get some sunshine in my afternoon.
My courier delivered the brand new Stampin Up
catalogues and with feeling not so well, what
better excuse than to spend an evening browsing
the new catalogue.

August Stamp Club

This month for Stamp Club we decorated two cute
boxes, made some gift tags, small gift cards
and a couple of Christmas cards.
I will be sad to see Contempo Christmas retire
at the end of this month, it is such a versatile set.
I am loving the white baker's twine at the moment.
I love white on everything and the twine is on my
favourite list of products to use.

Quick and Simple

This card came together without too much fuss.
Clean and simple. I used the embossing folder
for texture and the baker's twine.

Gold Medallion

Here is another stamp I will miss the Medallion stamp.
I have used gold embossing powder on this card
to give it a wow factor.
It has an Olympic feel with all this gold.

Flowers All Round

Here are some cards I made for a class using the Flower Fest
stamp set. Flower Fest is on the Retirement List and will be gone
after the 31st of August. It really is a lovely set.

Stampin Up's 2012 Retirement Lists

To view the retired Stamp Sets
To view the retired Accessories List

You might like to print them out and then highlight the retiring items in your catalogue.

Some of my old favourites are going....in particular
I'll be very sad to say goodbye to Loads of Love, Fifth Avenue Floral,
Pocket Silhouettes, Fox and Friends and Medallion :(
We are also losing a set of 5 In Colors -
Poppy Parade, Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzazz,
Concord Crush and Blushing Bride are all retiring.
You'll notice lots of inkpads on the list too -
that's because Stampin' Up! is introducing a new firm foam inkpad.
The colours will remain the same, it is just the surface of the inkpad that is changing.

The fantastic news is that some items are discounted by 75%!!

So, check the list to see if anything you love is disappearing forever -
but order it fast, because these items are only available while stocks last!
