Light Up Christmas with Stampin Up

I found this cool tutorial here,
to make the card below.
I am going to keep this one for myself to use for my Christmas display
this year, I am getting a collection now.
But it is such a cool card that I think I will
be making more. It's not the ideal card to post but is cool
if you are seeing the recipient to give it personally.
I have used all my favourite things on this card from Stampin Up.

Vintage Style Stampin Up

My favourite style, Vintage.
Nothing says Vintage like pearls, a dress form, ribbon, lace,
embossed card and a vintage brad to finish off.
I love the layers, elements, texture and a little white space for interest.
All products are Stampin Up.

Be Thankful

I have alot to be thankful for, sometimes I get
caught up with life and forget this. So this week I have made a
few Thank-You cards to send off to people
that have helped me recently and a few just because.

Stampin Up Christmas Decoration Wreath

If you have a few hours to spare this is a great project to tackle.
I curled lots of pieces of patterned paper and attached them to a foam
wreath with pins. I suspended the sentiment in the middle of the wreath
using Whisper White Baker's Twine and hot glued the Cherry Cobbler
Tulle to the back so I could use it to hang my wreath.
For a few hours of your time you have made a beautiful Christmas
keepsake for your family or a beautiful Christmas gift.
You could omit the sentiment and place a candle or flowers in the center
and use as a center piece for the Christmas table.

Stampin Up Christmas Cards for the Troops

I thought I would share a few of the Christmas cards
I made to be sent off for Cards for the Troops,
see yesterdays post.
Some cards I made multiple of and others I had a ball
using my Stampin Up products and seeing what I
could come up with. It's good sometimes to sit and
create just because and this is a great excuse to do so.
All products are Stampin Up.

2012 Christmas Cards for the Troops

Here is a quick photo of the cards I have made to
post off to Karen to be sent on their way to our
men and women in the Australian armed forces.
I get so much enjoyment each year contributing
and get a lot of use out of my Christmas craft supplies.
Have a look at this link, you still have time to post
some cards off if you get the chance.

Rockin Card

I made this card for my son's Birthday.
I used a retired Stampin Up stamp set.
He has a collection of guitars so this
set fit the bill.
He passed his Learner's license on his Birthday.
I was worried about him sitting the test on his actual
Birthday, incase he didn't pass and that would have
put a downer on the day but it all went to plan.

Triple Time Stampin with Stampin Up

I was inspired to try this technique when I saw
the beautiful card that Denise had made,
It's cool to try something different and challenge your mind.
I like the Christmas card the best.
I have been busy preparing and organizing for the Christmas, all day
craft event I am holding next month.
I will share with you the projects closer to the date.

The last few months since discovering how to make
Soy Wax candles and experimenting I have had
so much fun making the candles.
Here is another haul of new and vintage glass awaiting
the soy wax to be poured.
Not the flat dish, i have plans for that one.

October Stamp Club

This month we made a bunch of kids Birthday cards at Stamp Club.
I love the Stampin Up Designer Series Polka Dot Paper,
it's bright, colourful and adds a little something special.
We used Stampin Up Moving Forward stamp set.
We also made two Christmas cards, very simple but would
be a great design if you needed to make alot of the same card
or if you leave your Christmas cards to the last minute.

Stampin Up Demonstrator Swap

I have recently joined a swap with a few other
Stampin Up demonstrators. We were to make a card
using products out of the Stampin Up Holiday catalogue and it had to
be more than two layers. I have posted my swaps off
and am looking forward to receiving some cards
to give me new ideas.

Here's a sneak peek of my Christmas present.
I cannot wait for Christmas now and feel like a child
waiting for Christmas morning. My dearest, dearest husband
spotted this amazing 1934 typewriter and knew it would
be just the present for me. I had better come up with something
a little more special than a Bunnings voucher for him this year.

Stampin Up Snowflake Christmas Decorations

I know what your thinking if you live in this part of the world.
How could you think of snowflakes on a 32 degree, windy hot day.
Each year we decorate our Christmas tree with home made decorations
and some are getting worn out. So with all the great ideas in
Stampin Up's Holiday catalogue I thought it was time to make some new ones.
I have made a bunch of these for our tree. Cherry Cobbler on one side
and Old Olive on the other. I was inspired to use the acetate for the
decorations from Nerida's blog.

Stampin Up Postage Due

As soon as I saw this stamp set in the new catalogue
I had to have it. This is my kind of stamp set, although
this is the first time I have had a chance to ink it up.
I can see myself using it alot.

Scrapbooking with Stampin Up's Page Protectors

Sometimes scrapbooking can feel overwhelming.
Especially if you have a ton of photos and don't know
where to start. I haven't, unfortunately, had time the last
12 months to scrapbook but when I spotted these
Stampin Up Divided Page Protectors I had to see
what I could come up with. I love them.
You get 10 different variety page protectors, all 12x12.
A few things I love about them;
you don't have to stick or cut your photos,
photos can easily be removed if needed later on,
you can add as many photos or as few as you like,
your embellishments can be simple and quick,
there is lots of room for journalling,
i love how with the pockets you can hide personal journalling.
I was able to scrapbook all my son's photos from his snow trip
in two hours and that's fast for me. The best feeling was when
I had finished and I have these pages to display and the photos
won't be packed away in a photo album for no one to see.
